Briefs, March 24

Tuesday, March 24, 2020

The Livingston Parks & Trails Committee, which normally meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month, has canceled it’s upcoming meeting on Wednesday, March 25.

The Livingston School District Board of Trustees will convene at noon in a virtual Special Board Meeting via Zoom on Thursday, March 26. This meeting is to consider canceling the levy elections previously voted on at the March 10 board meeting, consider a resolution pertaining to permissive levies, and consider a COVID-19 Plan of Action for Livingston Schools. For the Zoom Board Meeting link or for more information, email jenny.stringer@livingston.k12.mt.us.

• A group of individuals in Paradise Valley has formed a shopping group for the elderly in the Emigrant and Pray areas. Elderly in need of groceries, toiletries or prescriptions can call the Bank of the Rockies in Emigrant at 333-9009. Leave a name, phone number, shopping lists and date of birth for prescriptions. The shoppers will drop the items off at your doorstep, and are asking for only $5 to cover for the cost of gas.

The free support group for women or self-identifying women survivors of childhood sexual abuse, early life sexual assault, or sexual harassment, offered by Chris Hillegass, Psy.D, in conjunction with ASPEN (Abuse Support Prevention Education Network) has been postponed until further notice. For more information or questions, call Chris at 220-0151.
