Global Intellectual Strategies® launches its Technical Library Services
Comprehensive collection of over 1,500 data books now available through GIS
Ottawa, ON – January 17, 2005 – Global Intellectual
Strategies® (GIS), an Intellectual Property Management consulting
firm, is proud to announce the launch of their technical
reference library that contains the complete content of more
than 1,500 technical books. Included in this collection are
data books dating back to 1973, along with conference digests,
journals, product manuals and market research reports.
The extensive library includes most data books from Motorola,
Texas Instruments, National Semiconductor, Intel as well
as Fairchild, RCA and Mostek. The collection comprises content
across all subject areas; memories (SRAM/DRAM), microprocessors,
peripherals, etc. While there are sources available today
to obtain electronic component and semiconductor data sheets,
GIS’ collection is far more extensive.
GIS will also provide custom research services. As an alternative,
appointments can be made allowing interested parties to visit
the library and perform their own research.
“This information will be of particular interest to those
researching the history of certain technologies and prior
art,” says Pierrette Breton, owner of GIS. “We
look forward to preserving and augmenting this collection
while making the contents accessible to the global research
community.”
Visitors to Global Intellectual Strategies’ website
will have the option of reviewing the large repository of
technical books by title and ordering excerpts. Please visit
